Main products from Raymar's Food Products Manufacturing

Entrepreneurs start their businesses for a variety of reasons. Some want to fulfill a dream, others wish to help others, and others start their business to invent a new product.

However, the start of Raymar’s Food Products Manufacturing was a different story. The owner, Mr. Raymart Pisano, started the business at age 23 as a leisure with his friends in their backyard and saw the potential of it. In 2018, he decided to continue and register it as a business located in Nagcarlan, Laguna.

Raymar’s Food Products Manufacturing comes with different variants of processed peanuts and garlic. The peanuts are tasty and freshly made that every customer will enjoy the crackling sounds in every bite. Their regular customers testify that they love the balance of saltiness and a bite of garlic in it.

After the business registration in 2018, Pisano attended seminars and training conducted by the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) – Laguna. He actively participated in various capacity building seminars conducted by DTI Laguna to further strengthen his entrepreneurial foundation in running a business.

Aside from the trainings and seminars that he availed from DTI Laguna, also in 2018, his business became one of the beneficiaries of the One Town, One Product (OTOP) where his product was developed in terms of packaging and labelling. In addition to this, through the said program, his products were able to enter a much broader market.

In 2020, as COVID-19 struck, it did not stop Pisano to look for ways on how the business will grow and develop. He even joined the Kapatid Mentor ME – Money Market Encounter (KMME-MME Online) which helped him learn more aspects in strengthening and developing his business through attending mentoring modules. Also, through the KMME-MME Online, Pisano was able to market link and benchmark with his co-mentees and was able to be informed of some of the success stories and best practices of other big companies in the business.

This 2023, Raymar’s Food Products Manufacturing is in the final stage of renovation of its processing area and has its own physical store. Its market also expanded as it entered the online platforms and pasalubong stores and it continues its participation in trade fairs or bazaars.

All his experiences and learnings in business were a treasure for him. He quoted, “para sa lahat ng mga entrepreneurs at sa mga nag-uumpisa pa lang na mag-negosyo, magtiwala tayo sa ating sarili na walang imposible sa mundong ito sa tulong ni Lord at ng tamang mga mentors. Mapapalaki natin ang ating munting negosyo na makakatulong sa pamilya natin at makapagbibigay ng oportunidad para sa ibang tao at sa ekonomiya. Mahalin natin ang ginagawa natin para makatulong sa mas marami. Tayo ang pag-asa ng ating bayan; ‘wag tayong sumuko sa ating pangarap.”

Pisano was a proof that’, in business, age is also just a number. If you have passion and dreams, you will make it. ♦
