NORTHERN MINDANAO – Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) Lanao del Norte gathers 105 mentee-graduates of its Kapatid Mentor ME (KMME) Program for the first KMME Networking Event.

KMME is a 10-module mentorship program that optimizes weekly interactions between the mentors and the mentees with the key goal of boosting the entrepreneurial capacity through improved access to mentorship, money, and market.

It is an initiative of DTI and the Philippine Center for Entrepreneurship (PCE).

The first-ever KMME Networking Event served as a platform for knowledge sharing, networking, and celebrating the achievements of the mentee-graduates in Lanao del Norte. It was also an opportunity for the local entrepreneurs to strengthen the bond in the business community and foster collaboration and innovation.

PCE mentors, Mr. Victor “Vix” Madlangbayan and Mr. Clarke Nebrao, graced the event and shared their expertise on business expansion strategies and upgrading MSMEs.

The gathering also featured testimonies from successful KMME mentee-graduates. Mr. Rexaniel Saburnido of Pater Al-Kuwait; Ms. Annabelle Cabasa of Sikyop Agriculture Cooperative; Mr. Irving Zarsuelo, CPA of Zarsuelo Accounting Office; Mr. Jhonny Paul Lagura of RISPh Consulting Services; and Mr. Julieto “Oyos” Mendoza of Purple Yam also shared their stories of transformation and the impact the KMME Program had on their businesses.

Aside from the inspirational talks, a mini exhibit was also organized for the mentees to showcase their innovative products and further add excitement to the momentous gathering. ♦
