NORTHERN MINDANAO – A student from Misamis Occidental National High School won the Regional Consumer Quiz 2023 organized by the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) Region 10 at Mallberry Suites Business Hotel.
The regional quiz was participated by the top 3 provincial consumer quiz winners in Bukidnon, Camiguin, Lanao del Norte, Misamis Occidental, and Misamis Oriental.
Ms. Jezelle Mae Bombio bested 14 other student-participants and won this year’s regional quiz.
Mr. Perkin Jacob Cagara of Gusa Regional Science High School won the second place while Ms. Mohanie Mulok of MSU-IIT Integrated Developmental School was declared as the third place winner.
The consumer quiz is conducted to promote awareness of consumer welfare to the students, encourages schools to be more active and participative in advocating the consumer welfare and protection programs, and creates awareness and impact to the audience because of new learning and knowledge on consumer welfare and protection.
It is one of the major events organized in celebration of the Consumer Welfare Month.♦
