CATANAUAN, QUEZON — The Department of Trade and Industry – Quezon, in partnership with the Office of Cong. Reynante U. Arrogancia and the Local Government Units of Buenavista, Catanauan, Mulanay, San Andres, and San Francisco, Quezon, successfully conducted the Awarding of DTI Pangkabuhayan sa Pagbangon at Ginhawa (PPG) Business Kits on January 27, 2023, held at Brgy. Madulao, Catanauan, Quezon.

The event was formally opened with a welcome remark delivered by Hon. Ramon A. Orfanel, Municipal Mayor of Catanauan, Quezon. Then, DTI Quezon Provincial Director Julieta L. Tadiosa discussed the overview of the PPG Program. It was followed by the messages of other Honorable Guests. DTI 4A OIC – Regional Director Marissa C. Argente delivered an inspiring message to the 108 DTI PPG beneficiaries along with all the attendees of the event. Then, Hon. Reynaldo E. Rosilla Jr., Municipal Mayor of Buenavista; Hon. Romulo D. Edaño Sr., Municipal Mayor of San Francisco; Mr. Cristobal Jorge Bainto, Municipal Administrator of Mulanay; and Ms. Adelia R. Roadilla, Director of PUP Mulanay, gave their messages of support to the beneficiaries of the program. Moreover, Cong. Reynante U. Arrogancia gave his message of inspiration and encouragement to all the beneficiaries from different municipalities in the 3rd District of Quezon.

Lastly, it was followed by the ceremonial awarding of DTI Pangkabuhayan sa Pagbangon at Ginhawa Business Kits worth 8,000 pesos each to the 108 identified PPG beneficiaries: 29 from Catanauan, 20 each from the municipalities of Mulanay and San Francisco, 15 beneficiaries from San Andres, and 24 beneficiaries from Buenavista, Quezon. ♦
