CABADBARAN CITY – Department of Trade and Industry-Agusan del Norte (DTI-ADN) through its Comprehensive Agrarian Reform Program (CARP) conducted an Entrepreneurial Farming (EntreFarm) Game Training last 14-15 June 2021 to Avanceña Beneficiaries and Farmers MPC in Brgy. Sanghan.

The EntreFarm Game is one of the entrepreneurial trainings conducted for farmer beneficiaries which aims to educate farmer-participants on market identification, negotiation, farm planning and records-keeping.

The activity is in partnership with Department of Agrarian Reform (DAR) in line with its Farm Business School Program.

Avanceña Beneficiaries and Farmers Multi-Purpose Cooperative (ABFMPC) during the Entrepreneurial Farming (EntreFarm) Game Training

Avanceña Beneficiaries and Farmers Multi-Purpose Cooperative (ABFMPC) is an Agrarian Reform Beneficiaries Organization (ARBO) in Sanghan, Cabadaran City engaged in rice production and vegetable production.

The Entrep-Farming game was conducted to aide them in handling and managing their agri-business.

Nineteen (19) members of ABFMPC participated on the two-day game-training and shared that the game modules have trained them to be multi-taskers. It stimulated their minds to think of strategies to optimize their lands and create businesses other than farming and production using what they have or what their land, location and situation can offer.

The said game uses simulation kit which consists of play-money, record-keeping tools like cash and bank book, and a monthly transaction sheet and other game tools like land title cards, child cards and life cards which make the game realistic by simulating learning thru experience. ♦
