City of San Pablo, Laguna – The Department of Trade and Industry Laguna Provincial Office (DTI-Laguna), represented by Division Chief Christian Ted O. Tungohan, joins the City Government of San Pablo in celebrating its 28th Coconut Festival: Coco Trade Fair 2023.

In his special message during the opening of the festival on 11 January 2023, Tungohan congratulated the city for hosting the event. He assured the consumers of San Pablo that DTI-Laguna and the local government are doing their best to curb the spread of COVID-19 alongside the resumption of local economic activities such as the trade fair. He further assured San Pablo entrepreneurs, especially the coconut stakeholders, that DTI-Laguna is one with concerned local and national government agencies in promoting and developing micro, small, and medium enterprises through different programs and projects including the Coconut Farmers and Industry Development Program.

The Coco Trade Fair 2023 runs from January 11 to 15, 2023. It is sponsored by San Pablo City Mayor Vicente B. Amante, City Administrator Larry S. Amante, City Cooperative Officer Concepcion M. Biglete, City Tourism Officer Ma. Donnalyn E. Briñas, and Local Economic Development and Investment Promotion Officer Paul Michael M. Cuadra.

The participating exhibitors are Prosource International Inc., Coco Keychains & Souvenirs by Police Hotline Movement Inc., Mga Likha ni Inay, Tanim Agriculture Cooperative, Magniniyog ng San Pablo City Agriculture Cooperative, Pandin Lake Tourist Service Cooperative, Ekolife Overseas Filipino Worldwide Marketing Cooperative, Pai’s Cactus & Succulents Plants Shop, San Pablo City Mushroom Growers, Sta. Elena Farmers Association, Angelito’s Empanada, Fruitjoy Enterprises, Bureau of Jail Management and Penology of San Pablo, and Philippine Coconut Authority – Laguna.
