Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) Lanao del Norte brings back its online consumer education platform this 2023.
Heading Online options for Protecting consumers and Enabling businesses or HOPE is a series of virtual seminars intended to foster consumer welfare and empower businesses.
The webinar series provides discussion on current issues and other relevant topics by appropriate government agencies, private organizations, and other concerned business establishments.
It started in 2020 as a means for the provincial office to connect with the consumers and MSMEs despite the pandemic.
28 HOPE episodes were successfully conducted in 2022.
This 2023, DTI Lanao del Norte kicked off the HOPE series with the first episode on Solo Parent Act. It was streamed live in the official Facebook page of the provincial office on January 19, 2023.
“With this session, I hope that you can find benefits that you can apply to yourself, your loved ones, or anybody you know who seriously needs this information.” DTI Lanao del Norte Provincial Director Jane Marie Tabucan said during her welcome remarks.
“It’s always better to be informed as consumers because a well-informed consumer is the best protected consumer.”
