GEN. NAKAR, QUEZON — In continuing to provide services and programs, the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) Quezon, through the Negosyo Center General Nakar, in collaboration with the local government of General Nakar led by the good Mayor Eliseo R. Ruzol Sr., has one of its programs, the Pangkabuhayan Sa Pagbangon at Ginhawa (PPG), where it aims to assist small businesses affected by various types of calamities such as pandemics, floods, fires, typhoons, and other types of disasters.

Barangay Umiray Gen. Nakar is one of the barangays that was severely affected by typhoon “Paeng” in the year 2022. On January 27th, 2023, the awarding of Pangkabuhayan Sa Pagbangon at Ginhawa business kits was held in the covered court in Barangay Umiray.

The 30 PPG beneficiaries received sari-sari store packages worth PHP 8,000 and payment using a Landbank gift card. They are very thankful for the assistance brought by the DTI program for those who have small businesses. The distance was not an obstacle for the government to deliver services and support to the citizens. That is why all the beneficiaries conveyed their sincere gratitude. ♦
