On Monday, November 14, 2022, the Department of Trade and Industry Quezon, through the Negosyo Center Dolores, began distributing livelihood Negosyo kits under the Pangkabuhayan sa Pagbangon at Ginhawa (PPG) Program and Livelihood Seeding Program—Negrosyo Serbisyo sa Barangay (LSP-NSB) in Puregold San Pablo Highway, San Pablo City, Laguna. A total of 35 beneficiaries were awarded livelihood kits amounting to 8,000 pesos.

Before the awarding, DTI Quezon staff paid a courtesy visit to Dolores Municipal Mayor Hon. Orlan A. Calayag, with the Municipal Councilor and Chairman of Trade and Commerce Hon. Binday Patulot, where they extended their gratitude for the mayor’s support to the programs of DTI in the municipality. Present at the activity was the Business Counselors from Dolores, Gumaca, and Candelaria, and PPG support staff to assist the beneficiaries with their shopping.

With the help of livelihood aid, DTI and its program partners expect that the chosen beneficiaries will be diligent and persistent in improving their livelihoods toward recovery and growth despite the difficulties that the economy is experiencing.
