CATANAUAN, QUEZON — The Local Government Unit of Catanauan held the Business One-Stop-Shop on the Ground Floor, Catanauan Municipal Bldg., on January 9–13 and 16–20, 2023. As stated in Section 4 of Republic Act 11032, the BOSS is a single common site or location or a single online website or portal designated for the Business Permit and Licensing System (BPLS) of an LGU to receive and process applications, receive payments, and issue approved licenses, clearances, permits, or authorizations.

The DTI-Quezon, through the Negosyo Center Catanauan, participated in the BOSS to facilitate the processing and documentation of paper requirements such as Business Name and Barangay Micro Business Enterprise (BMBE) registration.

Leah Maris S. de Imus, NC-Business Counselor, facilitated fifty (50) new and fourteen (14) renewals of business name applications; four (4) BMBE registrations; three (3) applications for BN cancellations; and received inquiries for the RISE multi-purpose loan and an upgrade of the BN territorial scope. ♦
