QUEZON — The Department of Trade and Industry—Quezon, through the Negosyo Center (NC) San Andres, conducted a public market visitation at Brgy. Poblacion San Andres, Quezon, to monitor the validity period of DTI business name certificates of each vendor or business owner operating within the area. It aims to remind the concerned enterprises about the importance of business name registration and the to-be-conducted Business One-Stop-Shop (B.O.S.S.) by the following weeks for quick business applications and renewal of permits. It was also a strategic initiative of NC San Andres to inform public market vendors regarding loan programs offered by Small Business Corporation (SBCorp) by giving them information materials and flyers. Furthermore, Business Counselor (BC) Alexis M. Alcantara advised business owners and helpers that in order to have faster monitoring of DTI business name certificates, a laminated copy of those should be posted in front of customers, alongside business permits.

BC Alcantara also took the opportunity to personally introduce herself and let vendors know that if they have further queries about DTI programs and services, Negosyo Center San Andres is always welcome for business advisories. ♦
