KORONADAL CITY, SOUTH COTABATO — In an effort to strengthen camaraderie among its employees, the Department of Trade and Industry Regional Office 12 holds a Family Day which was attended by its employees and their family members on December 21, 2022.

Along with the conduct of a family day, DTI-12 also opens its premise to the public through an open house event where the general public was welcomed to roam around and enjoy the different Christmas-themed decorated offices.

During her welcome message, Flora Politud-Gabunales, OIC-Regional Director of DTI 12, said that the family day and open-house event is the first big assembly since the pandemic, to gather all the family members of DTI 12 Regional Office’s employees to celebrate the community and togetherness.

“It has been quite some time since we have gathered the families of DTI 12 Regional Office’s employees. For most of your waking time, you have been away with your families serving the agency. We wish that through this event, your family members will see and appreciate our work in DTI,” said Politud-Gabunales.

The children also enjoyed the tour around the Christmas-decorated division offices and were treated to an assortment of candy and sweet goodies, games, and surprise gifts from Politud-Gabunales who acted as Santa Flora.

Having seen the happiness of the guests, particularly the children, Politud-Gabunales expressed her commitment to continue and make the endeavor a yearly anticipated spectacle of DTI 12.
