ORTIGAS CENTER, MANDALUYONG CITY — On 20 January 2023, an onboarding training dubbed Shopee University was attended by Provincial Government of Quirino and DTI R2 Quirino personnel in Ortigas Center, Mandaluyong City with Governor Dakila Carlo Cua taking the lead.

Orientation on Shopee Operations, Policies, Guidelines and Marketing Strategies were discussed, followed by a walking tour of the office facilities.

The engagement with Shopee is expected to bring numerous benefits for MSMEs in Quirino, including increased visibility and sales, access to new markets, and reduced costs associated with traditional brick-and-mortar operations.

The Provincial Government of Quirino, as OTOP Hub Center operator, will manage the Shopee account. It is an another milestone initiative to promote local products in wider digital market space.

Top selling products that will be featured are Robusta Coffee Beans and Ground Coffee, Fermented Cacao Beans and Artisanal Chocolates, Banana Chips, Ube Powder, Ginger and Turmeric Teas, Fossilized Flowers, Holiday Decors, and Home Furnishings and Handicraft items.
