Tindahang Rizalenyo Goes To Shangri-La Plaza

In celebration of the MSME Month, the Department of Trade and Industry Rizal Provincial Office, in collaboration with Rizal’s strong industry associations, Samahan ng mga Rizaleno sa sector ng Agrikultura at Pagkain (SARAP) and Rizal Exporters and Manufacturers Association Inc. (REMAI), will be showcasing various best products of the Rizal Province with more than twenty participating micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs) during the Tindahang Rizalenyo Goes To Shangri-La Plaza, which will start July 14 and end July 17, 2022 at the Shangri-La Plaza, Mandaluyong City.

This initiative is part of DTI Rizal’s effort to support MSMEs during the pandemic. The government agencies rolled out several measures to help these MSMEs pivot their operations. As a result, the DTI Rizal Provincial Office continues to provide marketing and product development assistance in its efforts to fuel the recovery of MSMEs in the midst of the pandemic effect of COVID-19 and the calamities that have struck the country. The implementation of the One Town One Product Next Generation (OTOP NG) and Bamboo Product Development Project under the Industry Cluster Enhancement (ICE) Program has developed new products and prototypes with potential market opportunities. With these, several flagship programs of DTI enable our MSMEs and communities to support and promote products that are rooted in their local culture, community resources, creativity, connection, and competitive advantage.

During its Opening Ceremony, DTI Rizal will be inviting Shangri-Plaza officials, Provincial and Local Government Chief Executives, DTI officials, Rizal MSME Development Council members, and representatives from the partner National Government Agencies, together with the Samahan ng mga Rizaleno sa sektor ng Agrikultura at Pagkain, Rizal Exporters and Manufacturers Association Inc., to grace the event.

This marketing event, which is strongly supported by the Rizal Provincial Government, features a wide array of quality products such as holiday and houseware décor, lifestyle, furniture, natural and organic products, fresh and processed food products from 13 municipalities and 1 city in Rizal Province.
